As the founder of Astute Artistry, Lisa Glickoff stands proud as the only Make-Up & Special Effects Training School in Michigan. Lisa's highly advanced training program is geared towards Students looking for careers in the Film & Fashion industries. Lisa's passion has always made her strive to make women feel beautiful and confident through her art.
Since the early 1990's Lisa has been an active force in the makeup industry extending her knowledge and skills across the board from film, fashion and philanthropy to help victims of cancer and diseases.
Lisa's extensive background in makeup ranges from Account Executive, to National Trainer, & most notably the 2006 Oscars where she did make-up for several celebrity clients. Lisa's 17 Years of experience as Professional Make-up Artist and National Trainer for several Cosmetic and Beauty Corporations exceed her.
For 15 years of her career she also served as a Brand Ambassador for Several Major lines of Cosmetics. Lisa also grossed and achieved highest status rankings as the #1 New Business seller of products on a national level.
Over the past 2 years, Astute Artistry has participated, coordinated, and executed 3 Major events. 2 Charity events for the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute which raised over $4,000 in Melanoma Research, and 2 major Film Industry networking events which connected Professionals and Amateurs in the Michigan Film Industry.
